Amaar Holding Participates in the “Foster Care: Responsibility and Empowerment” Forum

Amaar Holding Company participated in the “Foster Care: Responsibility and Empowerment” Forum, organized by the Wedad Society for Orphan Care in conjunction with the World Foster Care Day, and in partnership with the Eastern Province Development Authority and the Eastern Province Council for Social Responsibility (Ebsar).

The event was held at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Science and Technology Center (Scitech), with the participation of several government entities and a distinguished group of leaders from both public and private sector organizations in the Eastern Province.

The forum aimed to highlight foster care as a humanitarian and developmental priority, and to promote community partnerships that support children deprived of parental care by providing them with a stable family environment that contributes to building their future.

During the forum, several agreements were signed between Wedad Society and private sector organizations to enhance private sector contribution to social programs serving various groups across the Kingdom. The event also featured a presentation of Wedad Society’s journey in foster care programs, along with a presentation by the Council for Social Responsibility showcasing its role in empowering social initiatives across the region, under the patronage and support of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province.

The forum concluded with a panel discussion between the society and the council, during which audience questions were addressed, followed by the recognition of sponsors, supporters, and participants.
