The SREI holds its first board meeting, aims to train 40,000 trainees

The Board of Directors of the Saudi Real Estate Institute (SREI) held its first meeting this Sunday, April 13, 2018 under the chairmanship of H.E. Mr. Essam bin Hamad Al Mubarak, Governor of Real Estate General Authority and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Real Estate Institute (SREI).
Al-Mubarak stressed the role of the (SREI) in building the capabilities of the real estate sector, through training Saudi human resources in various real estate activities and qualifying them to enter the labor market in the Kingdom. The Board appreciated the initiative of establishing the institute, and the training programs and professional certificates granted in the real estate sector.
The Board reviewed the most notable achievements made until the end of the first quarter of this year 2018, where the number of trainees reached 999, through 33 training courses carried out in 9 cities in the Kingdom in which included a number of real estate disciplines aimed at building the capacity of the sector and contribute to the creation of jobs in activities such as real estate brokerage, landlord management, facility management, building inspection and off-plan sales.
The Board also discussed the Institute’s strategy and future transformation plan, which aims to train 40,000 trainees, in order to qualify them to work in the Saudi real estate market. The strategy also aims to build a system of quality control and educational excellence, set a number of local and international partnerships, and the establishment of a system of accreditation of licenses and certificates.
